I doubt that there is another groomer anywhere who loves each and every pet client the way Myke does. His affectionate chatter with pets tells you that he knows their language and pets respond well. Most importantly, Myke listens to his human clients, records their requests, then follows through with perfection. I always know that our “Woody” is going to walk out looking like a show dog. We are thrilled with Myke’s new mobile unite and wish him the very best. One of my friends calls the new mobile outfit a pet “spa.” Perfect description.

Myke is the best dog groomer I have ever met! I have owned dogs all my life and have met many groomers in many cities and none can compare to Myke. He sincerely cares about your dog and treats them like his own. He does an amazing job and your dogs will feel great when he is done and will not be stressed out. One of my 2 dogs gets very anxious and can be hard to cut- Myke is so good with him and takes the time to get the job done while being patient with my dog and calming his anxiety. Added bonus is that he comes to your house at no extra cost!! Doesn’t get any better than Myke and Absolute Pawfection!

Best groomer ever!!! Myke was our groomer at the local pet shop and we were so sad to hear that he was leaving. I am so glad that I had decided to take our dog to get groomed on his last day! I got his card and five weeks later called him to see where he was working. We’re so excited to find out that he started Absolute Pawfection and that he is now mobile!!! For those of you who want a little more detail than the above statement here it goes:
I have two dogs around 10lbs each a Yorkie and a Maltipoo! My maltipoo is a bit more of a nervous dog so I always hesitate to take him to places not knowing how they would deal with him. I called to schedule an appointment (they mostly always have availability which is awesome and super convinient!) I took my dogs in and was greeted right when I entered. My dogs by the way love playing around in this place! They were taken back for a full bath and cut… Teeth brushing is included by the way, if you check out their yelp check in offer! YAY! I came back to pick my dogs up (took about 3 hours) not bad! She did an amazing job! They looked so clean and adorable! The staff is SUPER friendly! Also this place sells anything your pet may need! Dog food, treats, toys, bones…. and MORE! They provide you with tons and tons of food samples for your pet which I LOVED! You must come check this place out! I will continue to come back and refer this place to my friends!

Its one thing to groom a dog, but a whole other level of expertise and patience to properly groom a cat. I rarely bring my cat to be groomed for this very reason. Many groomers do not know how to handle cats, and the stress of leaving your cat in a place full of dogs just seems unfair. I have a beautiful Maine Coon cat, Opie. He has very long hair and even though I brush him he gets matted often. I brought him to Myke and we decided the best thing to do was shave him. Now that is another scary thing becuase a cats skin is so delicate, and its hard to get an even shave without having your cat come back with raw painful spots on him where he got shaved too close. Myke did a wonderful job!! Opie went in calm and came out calm. He was shaved perfectly. Even all over, no red spots. He is much happier now and loves to be petted, where before he would shy away. I trust Myke with my cat and dog, but I especially recommend him to anyone who wants a cat groomed. Another thing to keep in mind with “mobile” pet grooming vans: Many of them require a water hookup. This is very inconvenient if you live in an apartment or on a busy street. Mykes van is totally self contained, no hookup required. That makes it even easier.

We have been using this place for about a year now. Our two little fur babies always come out looking adorable and smelling sooooo good! Plus the little bows they put in their hair are too CUTE!! Several of the groomers who works here have done a full on full groom on the girls and I’ve always been happy each time. Mike in particular does a fantastic job. Would recommend to anyone and especially folks concerned about leaving their little baby with just anyone. My girls are always happy and treated very well. You can tell the people here really love dogs and what they do.

I saw an ad for this place and decided to give it a try. It was my first time taking our new dog to the groomers so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it turned out to be an excellent experience. Our groomer, Megan, was amazing. She greeted our dog and made him comfortable before taking him back. The rest of the staff was super friendly as well. When I returned our dog seemed like he had been well taken care of and happy. His haircut was perfect. He was so amazingly soft and clean. Passerby’s were stopping us all day to tell us how cute our dog looked! I will be coming here from now on!

I have 3 cats and my mom has 2 dogs. I’ve been to over 15 different specialty pet stores in the San Diego area and this one is by far the best! While the store is quite small, they can special order any product you need. Not only that, but they also promise to price match with any other local store. There’s also ample parking which is a huge plus. When I first visited, I met Tim who has been exceptional to work with. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and generous with samples. Tim encouraged me to return for their anniversary party and I brought my mom with me. We had so much fun and my mom is now planning to bring her dogs in for grooming. All of the other customers we met were friendly and spoke very highly about the store. At the event, I also met Janetta. And even though things were busy, she spent so much time answering all my questions and giving great advice. My mom and I are forever grateful to Tim and Janetta. Thanks to these two and their amazing customer service, I will be using Absolute Pawfection for all my pet needs!

I read the reviews and this place did not disappoint. I’m very happy to find a great groomer in the area. We brought out Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in recently and they did exactly what we had asked for. Our dog looks and smells great.

I have been looking for a new groomer that understands the nature of poodle hair when you like to keep it longer than standard. And one that’s easy to make an appointment with. I found it! Lori at Pawfection did a cute puppy cut on my 13yr old poodle. She took her time because he can be awnry. The staff at the desk was very nice. I’ll come back.

This place is really a step above all the rest. They have such a wide assortment of quality foods and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Their prices are great too and they always come in less then the big box stores. I’ve also brought in several different breeds of dogs for grooming and baths and have always done an excellent job. They are very gentle and loving and really do quality work. For all my dogs grooming and nutrition needs this is definitely my go too spot!!!

Absolute Pawfection in Sorrento Valley is Pawfect!!! The staff is friendly and helpful according to the customer’s needs. I was in Virginia and my doggies in San Diego but they needed grooming badly so I arranged with this site to receive their long term clients Lola and Shaki. They put them quickly in the schedule, took my payment over the phone, arranged with my friend who was taking care of the doggies and at last did an excellent grooming job as usual!.
