During his career, Myke has apprenticed with hands-on training under four seasoned groomers. He is very involved in the grooming community, as a member of International Professional Groomers (IPG), Southern California Professional Groomers Association (SCPGA), and the Professional Cat Groomers Association of America (PCGAA).

Myke stays on the cutting edge of grooming trends, products and technology by attending a variety of grooming conventions for continuing education, as well as networking with other professional groomers on a global basis.

In the unlikely case of an emergency, Myke is also certified in pet CPR and first aid.

As the proud parent of Rowdy (a Chinese Crested), Jolie (a Maltipoo), and Phillip (an American Bulldog that he rescued), he firmly believes that rescued dogs are the most rewarding dogs to own and to be owned by.
